Ever thought about trying your hand as a game reviewer? Game tips writer? Would you like a chance to try? We’re looking for game reviewers and tip-writers. If you’re interested, pick a game you’d like to review and write up an article, observing the following editorial rules:

• Should be 300 – 1000 words in length
• No profanity can be used
• Use proper spelling and punctuation. We understand a typo now and then, and we’re willing to do a little editing, but if we have to work too hard to understand you, we probably won’t select your review. And Leet-speak? Not a chance.
• Back up your assertions as much as you can. Yes, reviews are your opinion, but if you’re going to say “Microsoft really should have burned this one alive before letting it out to the public” you’d better be prepared to explain why you think that. Unsubstantiated rantings will not get you published, especially if it just appears you have an ax to grind.
• Humor is appreciated and welcomed. Just don’t be funnier than us. (That’s a joke, son!)
• Don’t lift copyrighted material. Period. We will find out, and we will not be pleased.
• Links to relevant material can be included in your text. But save any self-serving links for your bio.

What’s in it for you? Well, to be blunt, next to nothing. You get to see your name in print, and we will allow you to conclude with a short bio that can include a link or two to a site you might like to promote. For example:

Ryan Carrera is a junior at Whassomatta U, majoring in Nordic Zoology. His favorite games are the Halo series, Grand Theft Auto: Roanoke, and Final Fantasy III, VII, XII and XIV. You can find more of Ryan’s insights at Ryan’s Cool Blog.

In addition, if you prove yourself a good and insightful (not “incite-ful”) writer, we may offer you a chance to write editorials–something we intend to reserve for ourselves and for really good writers!
